Alibaba Cloud has activated its third Malaysian data center and will launch a second facility in the Philippines by October, targeting regional demand for AI-driven cloud solutions. The Malaysian hub enhances computing capacity for businesses and governments, while the upcoming Philippine site focuses on AI workloads and data analytics.

Singapore now hosts Alibaba's Global AI Competency Center, designed to train developers and accelerate AI adoption across industries. The company cites Southeast Asia's digital growth potential as key to its investment strategy, aiming to deliver scalable, secure cloud infrastructure.
